Wild Sweet Orange [ tickets ], a Birmingham, AL-based rock outfit helmed by singer/songwriter/guitarist Preston Lovinggood, finds inspiration for songs in the SUV-riddled suburbs of America. Some, like "Land of No Return," point out the mindlessness and monotony of the 'burbs, while others ("Aretha's Gold") highlight the duality of young love found there. The hard-working quartet, whose name was taken from a brand of herbal tea, enjoyed indie success with several blog mentions after the release of their 2006 EP, "The Whale." Now finishing up an early summer cross-country tour supporting Augustana, Wild Sweet Orange is gearing up for the July 29th release of their debut album, "We Have Cause to Be Uneasy."

Naomi Campbell hospitalised in Brazil

The 37-year-old supermodel Naomi Campbell has been hospitalised following emergency surgery in Sao Paulo, according to her publicist.
Jeff Raymond, Campbell's publicist, said in a statement: "Naomi Campbell was admitted to the hospital last night to have a small cyst removed."
He added: "Following the successful procedure, she is now resting and is looking forward to getting back to work. She would like to thank the doctors who have kindly looked after her."
Campbell underwent successful emergency abdominal surgery and gynaecologist Jose Aristodemo Pinotti told the Brazilian Agencia Estado news service: "I cannot reveal what Naomi had, nor how serious her condition was, but I can say I operated on her yesterday and that she is completely cured."
He described the procedure as a laparoscopy, in which doctors use a thin, lighted scope to view internal organs.
The hospital said Campbell was admitted Sunday night and added that: "the patient and her advisers have determined that the hospital's medical staff will not issue any formal or informal information on her medical condition."
The hospital said David Uip, one of Brazil's leading experts in the treatment of infectious diseases, was also caring for Campbell.

Britney Spears' parents have accused television system healer Dr Phil John McGraw of betraying their trust by speechmaking publicly about his visit with their girl.
